The Big Soccer Game

As I get ready for my soccer game soon I could feel my heart beating very fast. As soon as I got there I could see my soccer team waiting for me. As we sprint out to the soccer field we could hear the crowd cheering for us.

After the whistle blows we run to the ball as fast as we can. I kick the ball to my player and he he ball to the next player and we keep doing it till we are near the goal. I could taste sweat dripping down from my face.

As I dribble the ball towards the goal. I could see the goalie looking the other way I was very nervous as I sprint to the goal. I kick the ball as hard as I can and it flies through the air and lands in the goal. “This was the winning goal,’’ I said to myself.

After the game was over the score was 7-4 to us. We all had fun and we were proud of ourselves for playing a great game. As I sprint to my team my coach said I could have the player of the day trophy.  “Nicole you are really using your defence skills,’’ my coach says to me.

They all cheer for me it was a great and exciting game. I couldn’t wait to play again next week at soccer. We will still have lots of fun even when it is raining, muddy or very cold outside. I really like soccer it is my very favorite kind of sport.    

   

Refection about the beep test

Thursday 14th August Room 7 did a beep test we had to run back and forth before you here the beep Mr Cottrell now knows our times mine was 1.0 but Aniela's time was 10.0 but next time I will try my best to beat my time.

Reflection about seeing Ihaia

Today Room 7 got to meet Ihaia who is a really good rugby player. but not everyone likes playing rugby some people like playing soccer, some like playing netball, some like playing cricket, some like playing base ball, some people like playing basket ball and some people like playing foot ball.

                  This is my tiger picture that I made with Miss Hind and it has got the stripes of the tiger.

This is a picture of New Zealand and the big fish which became the north island of New Zealand.

Once upon a time there was little girl called Cinderella. She was walking down the path when suddenly she saw a giant beanstalk. She wondered what was up there so she climbed and climbed and climbed. When she got to the top she couldn’t believe her eyes. Then she saw a big bad wolf and he was being chased by a fire breathing dragon. Cinderella was a little bit scared but she wanted to help the big bad wolf even though he was big and bad. So she grabbed a big bucket of water and she through the water into the fire breathing dragon’s mouth and stopped the fire. The big bad wolf thanked Cinderella for saving him. Now the fire breathing dragon that breathes fire is now a water breathing dragon that breathes water. So Cinderella and the big bad wolf climbed down the beanstalk and they were safe and they all lived happily ever after.
