Room 7 has been doing safe cycling at Parkvale School everyone has been having lots of fun riding bikes everyone likes riding bike well not everyone but it is lots of fun.

The Beep Test

Wednesday 15 October I did much better on the beep test because last time I did it I got 1.0 and now I got 5.7 but I need to listen a bit more next time so I know what to do. So I what to try to get up to 8.0 or over next time so I’m going to listen more carefully. Doing the beep test is very tiring but it is worth all the excitement that is what make it lots of fun.

Reflection about my hoilday

On Thursday me, my mum, my friends Paige and Liam and there mum went to the farmyard zoo. We saw lots of very cool animal my favourite animals were the lamas, the peacocks and the deer. Also my favourite thing at the farmyard zoo is getting a pony ride for $5 and you can feed a lam for $2. We also had a picnic lunch together with lots of food. There was a playground we played on and we all had ice cream so we all had lots of fun at the farmyard zoo that day it was awesome. For now I'm going to do my comprehension test at home with my mum.

Reflection about the planetarium

On Tuesday the 20th of may 2014 my class Room 7 went to the planetarium in Napier at Napier boys high school. There were lots of globs and posters that had stars and planets on them. We saw videos of space people and we saw stars and planets Mr  .

On Monday the 15th of September Room 7 went optimist yachting and kayaking it was a bit warm and a bit cold but it was lots of fun. I enjoyed the kayaking but not so much on optimist yachting because I was scared me and my buddy Paia were going to capsize but we handled it just fine. We played on the playground lots of times and I ate lots of food and it was really yummy. Anyway back to the yachting and kayaking I was freaked out about capsizing but now I know I will do just fine.

Monday 25th August

Dear Diary, let me introduce myself. My name is Nicole and my role in the production is doing the warrior dance. So far I'm doing really great, but I'm a little bit scared because I have stage fright. I'm getting better at it and I know all my move really well. Also about the costumes I had to try on three dresses but the third dress has just right. I'm really excited and nervous at the same time for Wednesday.

Tuesday 26th August

  

Dear Diary I'm back and we had dress rehearsal and I wore a dress from kapahaka. We had make up and lipstick on. I'm doing great so far but I'm still a little bit nervous about performing tomorrow night. Also I was embarrassed that on my dress it had hooks to clip it together, but it came undone when I was dancing. When I laid down on the stage the hook that Maui used in the production got caught on the side of my dress. I tried to help, it took a bit long but I soon got the hook undone just fine.

Wednesday 27th August  

Dear Diary I'm back again and I'm doing a great job so far. I'm not nervous any more now I'm super excited, because this was the day we were going to perform that night in front of our mums, dads, brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles and cousins. In the afternoon we went back to the hall and they gave us all ice blocks as a treat for doing a great job. So this has been a great and an exciting day so far. Now I'm very excited for tonight.

Thursday 28th August

Dear Diary Here I am again and I'm going to tell you about what happened yesterday. So yesterday night we had to perform in front of lots of people, which was a little bit hard to do but it wasn't that hard after all. I practiced really hard and they liked us. We were loud, funny and amazing. Now we are going to do it about seven more times till the end of the week which will be very tiring for all of us to do but we will get the hang of it sooner or later which we are and I love doing the production.
